Mayor Zolan was selected "Youth Friendly Mayor"

Within the 'Youth Friendly Candidates Youth Friendly Cities' campaign which was done in the National Youth Parliament on 30 March 2014 local elections, Mayor of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Osman Zolan was awarded with the 'Youth Friendly Mayor' prize. Mayor of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Osman Zolan continues to implement various social responsibility projects and youth projects in Denizli. 

By visiting Mayor of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Osman Zolan in his office, Vice President of Habitat Development and Governance Association and National Youth Parliament Advisory Board Member Ayhan Soyfidan together with Executive Committee Member of the National Youth Parliament Almes Söylemez gave him the award. Stating that all the projects and studies implemented to meet the needs of young people living in Denizli to develop themselves will continue Mayor Zolan said that will be provided better conditions for education of the younger generation.

ZOLAN, ''WE'LL CONTINUE TO KEEP THE LIGHT FOR OUR YOUNG PEOPLE''
Mayor Zolan, ''For 10 years we have implemented various projects for our children and for young people. In this context we have built and opened gyms, swimming pools, study centers and sports fields. In addition within the Young Denizli Project we have organized free courses in various domains in order to support and to increase the young people's interest in theatre, art, sport and cinema. By signing the contract with the 'Youth Friendly Candidates Youth Friendly Cities' campaign organized by the National Youth Parliament we've given support to the project. We will continue to give all type of support for the development of our young people. I am proud to receive the ''Youth Friendly Mayor'' award, ''he said.

Providing information about the campaign, Vice President of Habitat Development and Governance Association and National Youth Parliament Advisory Board Member Ayhan Soyfidan said: ''Habitat Development and Governance Association together with City Council Youth Assembly and National Youth Parliament facilitated and supported Turkey's young people active participation in community life and the development of a holistic youth policy. By performing the "Youth Friendly Candidates Youth Friendly Cities" campaign in the local elections on March 30, 2014 we have signed contracts with 245 mayoral candidates from in 90 districts of 55 provinces. In this context we decided to give the 'Youth Friendly Mayor' award to Mayor of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Osman Zolan who has realized so many exemplary projects in order to support the young people. I would like to thank him for all the support he gives to our young people. ''
Following the speeches members of the National Youth Parliament have offered the award to Mayor of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Osman Zolan.
