The enthusiasn of Türkçevizyon began
The 5th edition of Türkçevizyon 2014 hosted by Denizli Metropolitan Municipality and organized in cooperation with Denizli Governorship and TRT began. Starting with a parade, followed by the official visit of the 22 artists from 22 countries to the Mayor of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Osman Zolan, the enthusiasm of the festival culminated with a concert in Delikliçınar Square. During the visit Mayor Zolan's office was the scene of colorful moments.
Hosted bu Denizli Metropolitan Municipality and organized in cooperation with Denizli Governorship and TRT, the 5th edition of Türkçevizyon began. Taking pictures with the 22 artists from 22 countries in front of the Statue of Glass Rooster, Mayor of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Osman Zolan gave a peace message to everyone. The festival program started on September 10 with the parade cortege consisting of 22 artists from 22 countries. At 17.30, after visiting Denizli Governorship, groups layed a wreath at Ataturk Monument and together with members of the protocol and accompanied by Denizli Municipality Band participated in the parade cortege until Delikliçınar Square. After cortege the foreign guests visited the Mayor of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Osman Zolan in his office. Türkçevizyon 2014 began with the first show in Delikliçınar Square at 21:00. Mayor Zolan, ''Our goal is to contribute to the development of intercultural dialogue. Due to this festival millions of people will listen the Turkish language as an universal language spoken trough music.We have organized this festival in order to contribute to peace in the world, to know better each other, ''he said.
"We love all people"
Stating that he is happy and proud to experience the 5th edition of Türkçevizyon here, Mayor Zolan, ''There will be activities in different points of Denizli. Hopefully you will have the opportunity to know better Denizli and our country. On the premiere night 20 thousand people will watch the show in the ancient. We love all people regardless of race, gender, color or religion. We need to keep contact to each other for the world peace and for the cultural exchanges. Hopefully, this project will continue in future. We are sending Many greetings to your country. Following the visit the Mayor Zolan has received the Uzbekistan traditionally hat called 'doppı' as a gift. Later the artists posed for a souvenir photo on the square in front of the glass rooster statue, the symbol of the city.
The music festival in Delikliçınar and Sarayköy
Festival started in the evening in Delikliçınar Square and in Sarayköy district. In the festival program held in Delikliçınar Square coordinated by Ayfer Durak, the Aegean Ezgiler program with the participation of TRT artists Bekir Ünlüataer, Yaprak Sayar, Tuğba Ger and Saabahattin Gülümser was broadcast live on TRT Music and was followed by thousands of Denizli's people. Mayor Zolan has invited all Denizli people on Saturday, September 13, at Pamukkale Ancient Theatre, at 20:00. In Sarayköy district the TRT artist Ali Çakar took the stage. Mayor of Sarayköy Municipality Ahmet Necati Özbaş thanked the Mayor of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Osman Zolan for the concert.
Free buses will get to Pamukkale
For the first time this year Denizli Metropolitan Municipality will bring Türkçevizyon in the districts. In this context, TRT artists will perform concerts every evening at 21:00 as follows: on September 10 in Sarayköy, on September 11 in Acıpayam, on September 12 in Çivril. In Denizli center the TRT artists will take the stage on September 11 at the Open Air Theatre and on September 12 in İncilipınar Park. The festival's gala night will take place on Saturday, September 13th at 20:00 at Pamukkale Ancient Theater. At the premiere night artists of all participant countries together with Rafet El Roman and Ezo will take the scene of the Ancient Theatre. On Saturday afternoon Denizli Metropolitan Municipality will provide free buses to bring people to Pamukkale. The free buses will depart from different points in Denizli as it follows: Çatalçeşme Theatre Hall, in front of KYK Campus, opposite the old Teachers House, Democracy Square, Albayrak Square and Yenişehir neighborhood. On the same day from 16.00 the entrance to Pamukkale will be free.
