The enthusiasm of April 23 in Cyprus
Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Yıldızlar Folk Dance Group participated in the 17th International April 23 Children's Festival held in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Denizli delegation visited the Prime Minister of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, President of the Assembly and Minister of Education.
Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Yıldızlar Folk Dance Group participated in the 17th International April 23 Children's Festival held in Yavru Vatan. Invited to Yavru Vatan by the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Ministry of Education on behalf of Turkey, Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Yıldızlar Folk Dance Group has attracted great interest in the festival especially with the dance show zeybek. Highly acclaimed in the festival, Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Yıldızlar Folk Dance Group was also invited to the festival to be held next year. The dance group has also staged a successful performance in Nicosia and Kyrenia. Participating in various activities, Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Yıldızlar Folk Dance Group has performed Turkey's and Denizli's specific dances.
Visit to Prime Minister Yorgancıoğlu and President of the Assembly Siber
Adding color to the April 23 festival with their shows, Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Yıldızlar Folk Dance Group visited the Prime Minister of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Özkan Yorgancıoğlu, President of the Assembly Sibel Siber, Minister of Education Özdemir Beroava and Nicosia Ambassador Halil İbrahim Akçayı. Expressing their happiness to be in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Yıldızlar Folk Dance Group said they are proud to represent Turkey and Denizli in Yavru Vatan.
