15. Direklerarası Audience Award Aegean Meeting was held in İzmir Karşıyaka, at Ziya Gokalp Cultural Center. Denizli Metropolitan Municipality City Theater, which has been organizing the International Amateur Theatre Festival since 1984 and many other cultural and art events, received three awards at the ceremony. Denizli Metropolitan Municipality City Theatre received the "Best Director" award with the play '13'directed by Sinan Küçüköz, "The best poster design" and "The best original play text" award with the play '3beş8 ve Diğer Şeyler' (3five8 and Other Things) written by Sinan Küçüköz, Birol Tezcan and Ceyhun Atmaca. Awards were handed to the Head of Culture and Social Affairs Department of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Hüdaverdi Otaklı and the City Theater General Art Director Sinan Küçüköz.

The winning plays will be staged every Saturday

Head of Culture and Social Affairs Department of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Hüdaverdi Otaklı said that both the City Theatre and Young Denizli will continue to promote the art of theatre in Denizli. Otaklı, ''We are really proud to receive these awards. I think the art of theatre will continue to be professionalized together with the Metropolitan, ''he said. Stating that awards are a gift to Denizli, the City Theater General Art Director Sinan Küçüköz said that winning plays will be staged alternately until the end of the year, every Saturday at 20:30 at Çatalçeşme Theatre Hall.
