4. Kaleiçi Shopping Festival begins
Organized by the Kaleiçi Beautification and Cultural Association, with the support of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, the 4th Traditional Kaleiçi Shopping Festival will be held on November 23-30. Mayor of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Osman Zolan, ''We want all our people to participate in the traditional shopping days in Denizli's first AVM, the historic Kaleiçi Bazaar. Denizli Metropolitan Municipality gives a great importance to the historic Kaleiçi Bazaar where this year on November 23-30 will be held the 4th Traditional Kaleiçi (Old City) Shopping Festival. During the Kaleiçi Shopping Festival, organized by the Kaleiçi Beautification and Cultural Association with the support of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality and Denizli Chamber of Commerce, citizens will take advantage of substantial price discounts at all products. Kaleiçi trades showed great interest in the breakfast held before the Kaleiçi Shopping Festival. In his speech here, Mayor of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Osman Zolan said that Kaleiçi is a historic place of the city: ''Kaleiçi is a shopping place left from our ancestors. They created this place, ''he said.
Invitation to Festival
Explaining that because of the time requirements, Kaleiçi passed the background in terms of places preferred by the people for shopping, Mayor Zolan said: ''We are supporting Kaleiçi from all points of view. Kaleiçi is more beautiful now. We're going to protect this value. We want to protect and to keep alive this place. Here are our history, our roots, and our past. We are giving our support to the festival that will be held on November 23-30 because this festival aims to preserve and to transmit our people these feelings. I invite all Denizli people to come to the festival and to feel these feelings of spirituality and to get good products at a reasonable price. Starting on Monday, November 23 we will carry out beautifully activities during the festival, ''he said. After breakfast, Mayor of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Osman Zolan visited the tradesmen of Kaleiçi. Mayor Zolan also chatted with people came to shopping and invited them to the festival.
