Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, which has recently started the Zero Waste Management System, carried out under the auspices of the First Lady Emine Erdoğan, under the coordination of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, to prevent waste and to use resources more efficiently, has achieved another successful work. In this context, Denizli Metropolitan Municipality began an exemplary study in terms of preventing environmental pollution, extending the life of disposal facilities, reducing waste generation, leaving a cleaner and more livable environment for future generations and increasing the economy. Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, which applied to the Zero Waste Management System of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization for its related buildings and campuses after these works have received a Zero Waste Certificate.

 

No compromise on environmental awareness

 

Stating that they have carried out another successful work as Turkey's greenest, healthiest and most clean city, Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Osman Zolan said, ''We continue to work with all our strength for a more beautiful Denizli, with sensitivity to nature and the environment. ''Pointing out the importance of controlling the wastes and leaving a clean and livable world to future generations, Mayor Zolan said: ''From a city where even birds could not fly due to air pollution, today we have a green and breathable Denizli.
